NOTE: This change affects Paragraph 3.5.3, which was added by ICN #1.

Change the procedure as follows:

On cage 5, replace the last sentence of Paragraoh 3.5.3 with the following:

When Client accroval of the document is received, the "Not for Construction" stamo will be crossed through and the document will be restamoed "Aporoved by TUSI." As with the "Not for Construction" stamo, the "Acoroved by TUSI" stamo will acoly only to the latest revision letter appearing on the document, and will supersede the "Not for Construction" stamo. Documents stamped "A0 proved by TUSI" are approved by the Client for the specific curcose or activity noted in the revision block.

Reason for change:

To eliminate need to reproduce laroe numbers of documents when TUSI accrovals are received.

3.5.3 An Enoineerino document that has not yet been acoroved for construction by the client may be reproduced and issued as a controlled document, provided DCC stamos it with the following notica:

" NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION" When such is the case, the "not for construction" notice shall apply only to the latest revision letter appearing on that document. When client aporoval on the document is received, the stamped document will be retrieved and reolaced with unstamped documents, per normal procedure.

Reason for change:

To allow controlled distribution of engineering documents that are released orior to Client approval, oer letter TUS-773, dated August 27, 1975.

INTRODUCTION 1.1 PURPOSE l

The purpose of this procedure is to describe the activities, func-tions and responsibilities of the Reproduction Section of the DCC at the CPSES.

1.2 SCOPE The Reproduction Section of the DCC will perform or coordinate all printing, duplication and reproduction at the CPSES while maintain-ing and controlling the use of the plant's reproduction equipment.

REPRODUCTION ACTIVITY AREAS

The OCC reproduction activities for site distribution will be per-formed in four major activity areas. The Reproduction Suoervisor i

is responsible for the execution and coordination of all reproduc-tion activities.

3.1 Xerox Area to reproduce:

3.1.1 Correspondence 3.1.2 Specifications 3.1. 3 Procedures 3.1.4 Other data on sheets sized 81/2" by 11" and 81/2" by 14" 3.2 Blueprint Area to reproduce 3.2.1 Hard copies or prints for distribution from reproducibles (Mylars, Sepias, or Tracings).

3.1 Microfilm Process Area to:

3.5 REPRODUCTION AUTHORIZATION All reproduction accomplished by DCC must be substantiated by either; (1) a computer printed Distribution Summary, or (2) a Reproduction Request form (see attachments 1 and 2, respectively).

3.5.1 The computer printed Distribution Summary is generated by the DCC computer tenninal and contains the total quantity of copies needed for approved distribution of controlled documents.

3.5.2 The Reproduction Request form will be prepared by individual re-questors when requesting DCC to perform any reproduction other than, or in addition to the approved distribution accomolished in accordance with paragraph 3.5.1 above.

NOTE: When a requestor prepares a Reproduction Request form reouiring DCC to reproduce t

additional copies of controlled documents, DCC will stamp these copies with the fol-lowing notice:

"INFORMATION COPY" THIS DOCUMENT IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY. CONTACT DOCUMENT CONTROL i

FOR CURRENT STATUS AND REVISION.

Holders of documents so marked will not be kept up-to-date with subsequent revisions by DCC, and it will be the sole responsi-bility of the holders of these copies to I

insure that they are not using a copy of a controlled document that has become obsolete due to supersession, 1

REPRODUCTION EQUIPMENT AND CONTROL Xerox machines will be located in the DCC Reproduction area as well as throughout the project.

4.1 AREA XER0X MACHINES 4.1.1 Machines used by B&R personnel throughout the project will require an operating key to become activated. A single exception will be reproduction equipment maintained by the B&R Quality Assurance Department. Documents reproduced by this section will be stamped to clearly indicate their reproduction source to be B&R QA. Con-trol of such reproduction will be the responsibility of the B&R Project QA Manager.

4.1.2 Approved personnel will be issued operating keys. These personnel will be instructed that the following documents may not be copied except through the DCC:

4.1.2.1 Specifications 4.1.2.2 Procedures 4.1.2.3 Security Documents 4.1.2.4 Construction Procedures 4.1.2.5 Any other document subject to being revised.

4.1. 3 The following documents may be copied:

4.1.3.1 Correspondence 4.1.3.2 Unclassified reports 4.1.3.3 Documents not subject to being revised or voided 4.1. 3. 4 (DELETED) 4.1.4 A master key will be maintained by the DCC ana in the plant's master key file.

matters pertaining to printing or reproducing project data.

l 5.1.3 Prepare and submit to the Project Engineer reports of the reproduction costs incurred and the number of copies reproduced on a monthly basis.

5.1.4 Control reproduction of classified material in accordance l

with approved procedures.

5.1.5 Provide operating keys to authorized personnel for operating satellite reproduction machines, j

5.1.6 Maintain an inventory of adequate supplies for all reproduction equipment.

l 5.2.2 Plan ahead and allow sufficient lead time for requested work.
