1. INTRODUCTION 1.1 PURPOSE The purpose of this procedure is to describe the activities, func-
tions and responsibilities of the Reproduction Section of the DCC at the CPSES.

1.2 SCOPE 4 The Reproduction section in DCC will be responsible for the

! reproduction of controlled documents (drawings, specifications i and procedures) for distribution to construction activities; Purchasing will be responsible for the reproduction of Safety-Related Purchase Orders. OCC will also serve as a central j reproduction area for copying correspondence, lists, forms and internal documents for other site offices and organizations as j required.

2. DEFINITION OF TERMS, ABBREVIATIONS AND SYMBOLS 4

3. REPRODUCTION ACTIVITY APEAS The DCC reproduction activities for site distribution will be performed in three major activity areas. The Reproduction and Distribution Group Leader is responsible for the execution and coordination of all reproduction activities.

3.3.1 Copies of drawings made from aperture cards for distribution.

3.4 REPRODUCTION AUTHORIZATION All reproduction accomplished by DCC must be substantiated by; (1) A computer printed Distribution Sumary, and/or (2) A Reproduction Request form (See attachments 1 and 2, respectively) 3.4.1 The computer printed Distribution Sumary is generated by the DCC computer terminal and contains the total quantity of copies needed for approved distribution of controlled documents.

All controlled document copies reproduced for distribution to construction activities will be marked with the control copy stamp (below) and copy numbers, as reflected on the individual distribution code list, will be added in red after reproduction.

'0{, C0@ W 3.4.2 The Reproduction Request form will be prepared by individual requestors when requesting DCC to perform any reproduction other than, or in addition to, the approved distribution accomplished in accordance with Paragraph 3.4.1 above.

OCC will stamp these copies with the fol-lowing notice:

"INFORMATION COPY" THIS DOCUMENT IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY. CONTACT DOCUMENT CONTROL FOR CURRENT STATUS AND REVISION.

Holders of documents so marked will not be kept up-to-date with subsequent revisions by DCC, and it will be the sole responsi-bility of the holders of these copies to insure that they are not using a copy of a controlled document that has become obsolete due to supersession.

3.4.3 Controlled documents that have not yet been approved by the Client may be reproduced for distribution to construction activities provided DCC marks the copies with the;following notice:

"NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION" This notice applies only to the latest revision level of the document. When Client approval is subseouently received.

OCC print runners will cross through the "NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION" notice and mark the document copies " APPROVED BY TUSI". The

" APPROVED BY TUSI" notice supersedes the "NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION" notice and indicates approval of the latest revision level of the document for the specific purpcse or activity noted in the revision description block.

4. REPRODUCTION EQUIPMENT, CONTROL AND COORDINATION 4.1 EQUIPMENT AND CONTROL 4.1.1 Copy machines located outside the DCC reproduction area are specifically for departmental copying and are not to be used for reproduction of the types of documents listed in Items 1 through 5 below. It will be the responsibility of each department manager having cognizance over such copy machines to insure that this procedure is followed. Addi- -

tionally, signs warning of these copying restrictions will be posted at each copying station located outside the DCC repro-duction area.

5. Any documents requiring more than twenty (20) copies 4.2 COORDINATION 4.2.1 Additional responsibilities of the OCC which are a matter of business conduct, but which should not be considered "QA Audit" items, are as follows:
1. Arrange to have the reproduction equipment serviced and i maintained.
2. Provide or obtain technical advice and assistance on all matters pertaining to printing or reproducing project data.
3. Prepare.and submit to the Project Engineer reports of the reproduction costs incurred and the number of copies repro-duced as required.
4. Maintain an inventory of adequate supplies for all repro-duction equipment.
