MSS #: ADMINISTRATOR.

INITIATOR: ISSUE MANAGER:

NUMBER OF OPEN ACTIONS: 2 NUMBER OF CLOSED ACTIONd: v Alarm Response Contrary To What Was Anticipated Per The Procedure DESCRIPTION:

When the DC control power to bus 2B03 was de-energized, the Unit 2 Common Critical Control Power Failure alarm (Window CO2 F 4-1) was not received. The previous step of the controlling procedure to de-energize the control power indicated this alarm should have been received.

i Significance: Unanticipated response contrary to procedure.

Corrective Actions: Reviewed drawings and determined the Unit 2 Common Critical Control Power Failure alarm (Window CO2 F 4-1) should not be received when the 2B03 DC Control Power is de-energized. The 2B03 fuse monitor relay ( 2B 03 -74 FM) inputs to the alarm and only monitors the DC Control Power to 2B03 lockout scheme which has a different supply than the overall bus control power.
