1.4 To remove sediment deposits in the service water supply lines to the auxiliary feed pumps using the built in flush lines.

Remarks:

6.0 AUXILIARY FEEDWATER PUMPS 6.1 Flush the south service water supply line to auxiliary feed pump suction via the bulls eye to the service water header by opening valve SW-140A.

6.2 Flush the north header in same manner as Step 6.1 above for SW-111 A.

  • CAUTION
  • SHOULD IP-29 REQUIRE COOLING WATER SUPPLY WHILE SW-137 OR 137B IS SHUT, IT MUST BE PROVIDED BY MANUALLY THROTTLING OPEN OF BYPASS VALVE, SW-137A.

6.3 Station a Level 3 dedicated operator in accordance with OM 3.26. Supply cooling water to IP-29 if required.

6.4 Shut SW-13 7 and 137B. Then disassemble, clean, and inspect lYS-2998.

Flush SW through the strainer body with the strainer removed.

Reassemble the strainer. Lock open and record the lock numbers of the following:

6.5 Inspect lYS-2998 for leakage at system pressure.

6.7 In the second and fourth quarters, perform the following on the firewater
backup cooling rupply

6.7.1 Shut FP-243 and 306.

6.7.2 Disassemble, clean and inspect YS-3795.

6.7.3 Flush firewater through the strainer body with the strainer removed.

6.7.4 Reassemble the strainer, YS-3795.

6.7.5 Open FP-243 and 306. Shut SW-135.

PMT 6.7.6 Inspect YS-3795 forleakage at system pressure.

6.7.7 Open cooling supply bypass, SW-137A and record PCV-3771 pressure on IPI-4458 psig.

6.7.8 Shut SW-137A. Then lock open and record the lock numbers of the following:

Flush SW through the strainer body with strainer removed. Reassemble the strainer. Lock open and record the lock.

6.11 Secure Level 3 dedicated operator.

6.12 Station a Level 3 dedicated operator in accordaace with OM 3.26. Supply cooling water to 2P-29 if required.

6.13 Shut SW-115 and 115B. Then dhassemble, clean and inspect 2YS-2998.

Flush SW through the strainer body with the strainer removed.

Reassemble the strainer. Lock open and record the lock numbers of the following:

SW-115 Red Lock No. /

SW-1ISB Red Lock No. /

PMT 6.14 Inspect 2YS-2998 for leakage at system pressure.

6.15 Secure Level 3 dedicated operator.

6.16 In the second and fourth quarters, perform the following on the firewater backup cooling supply: .

6.16.1 Shut FP-245 and 298.

6.16.2 Disassemble, clean and inspect YS-3796.

6.16.6 Open cooling supply bypass, SW-115A and record PCV-3772 pressure on 2PI-4458. psig 6.16.7 Shut SW-115A. Then lock open and record the lock numbers of the following:

PMT 6.17 Inspect YS-3796 for leakage at system pressure.

6.19 Shut SW-123 and 123B. Then disassemble, clean and inspect YS-2913.

Flush SW through the strainer body with strainer removed. Reassemble the straincr. Lock open and record the lock numbers of the following:

7.1.3 Ensure the Control Room receives the " Unit 1 Generator Bus Cooling Water Flow Lo" alarm.

7.1.4 Open ISW-425B.

7.1.5 Shut ISW-425C.

7.2 Unit 2

, 7.2.1 Open 2SW-425C.

7.2.2 Shut 2SW-425B.

7.2.3 Ensure the Control Room receives the " Unit 2 Generator Bus Cooling Water Flow Lo" alarm.

7.2.4 Open 2SW-425B.

7.2.5 Shut 2SW-425C.

8.0 SPENT FUEL PIT HX AND SW HEADER FLUSH NOTE: Nottfy Controlprior to theflush to monitor service water header pressure Flush only one heat exchanger at a time.

Flush the west service water supply header and spent fuel pit heat exchangers.

8.1 Noting original positions, fully open SW-660 and SW-661, spent fuel pit heat exchanger service water throttle valves.

8.2 Continue flushing until the bulls eye on the spent fuel pit service water radiation monitor is clear.

8.4 Have Control shift the positions of SW-2930A and SW-2930B (SFP HX's outlet MOVs).

8.5 Noting original positions, fully open SW-660 and SW-661.

8.6 Continue flushing until the bulls eye on the spent fuel pit service water radiation monitor is clear.

8.7 Return SW-660 and SW-661 to original positions.

8.8 Have Control realign SW-2930A and SW-2930B to as-found positions.

9.0 ZURN STRAINER FLUSH Fully open the manual blowdown valve for the following Zurn strainers for a ,

minimum of 15 minutes, then shut the manual blowdown valve.
