DN 50,-498 On June 12-14, 1979, the undersigned investigated an allegation concerning missing radial rebar around the Unit i RC3 equipment hatch.

(The allegation was on a tape which was forwarded to RIV by IE HQ.) During the course of the investigation, concrete pour cards and related documents for placements CSI-W7A, CSI-W8A, CSI-W6A, CSI-W8E, CSI-W8G, CSI-W9A CSI-W9E, CSI-W10A, CSI-W11A, l

CSI-W12A, CSI-W13A, CSI-W14A and CSI-W15A were reviewed. None of the documents reviewed indicated that radial reinforcing steel was missing from the equipment hatch.

Responsible licensee and Brown & Root representatives stated that they had no knowledge of missing reinforcing steel.

This allegation was not substantiated.
