ALLEGATI0fl5 On October 23, 1981, the RRI received two allegations as follows:

. An alleger called to state that unsatisfactory conditions relative to storage of equipment were being ignored because supervisors were only concerned with the quantity of maintenance, not the quality.

It was also stated that a worker was threatened with 6ess of job if he notified the NRC.

. J. Guitarrez, NRC attorney, called the RRI to detemine if Brown &

Root had destroyed records or. is destroying QA records.

The RRI forwarded the first allegation to RIV imediately after receiving it.

It was recomended that priority attention be given this item since the alleged firing was expected on Monday, October 26, 1981.

The second allegation is too vague to pursue. The RRI did check with licensee personnel to detemine whether they had knowledge of any improper acticn with regard to records. They know of none. The RRI will monitor this matter during routine inspections, however, no other special action will be taken unless more -

infomation is received and the information is more precise (who, when, where, whatetc.).
