ALLEGATION NO. 1 A.
Vague - unknown correspondence.
B.
An investigation would involve pulling samples from B&R and HL&P Department files (personnel, engineering, audit, construction), and interviewing various people associated with the NCR, memos, letters, and general correspondence.
C.
Probability of success - remote.
ALLEGATION NO. 2 A.
Not enough detail - vague.
B.

ALLEGATION NO. 7 This allegation is addmssed in investigation report 50-498/50-499/79-19. This is true.
Turnover is continuing as more experienced personnel are being hind.
ALLEGATION NO. 8 This allegation has no current merit in that both QA managers (HL&P and B&R) l have been replaced subsequent to receiving the allegations.
ALLEGATION NO. 9 This allegation is incorrect /not true - both B&R and HL&P have assigned personnel, who are responsible for discipline.
ALLEGATION NO. 10 This allegation is questionable.
Site QA supervisor, at time of letter writing, has been replaced. Whether or not nuclear experience is required is unknown.

Allegations 1 and 2 are so vague that the time an'd effort required compared to the results is at bqst tentative.

Allegations 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 have been addressed by previous investigations and/or currently in the process of being corrected.

Allegation 8 - no longer has merit.

Allegation 9 is now incorrect due to current reorganization.

Allegation 10 infers that supervisors and engineers need nuclear experience before they are qualified. Also, the individual identified has been replaced.
RECOMM'ENDATION That no extensive inlestigative effort be extended unless alleger is identified and/or more detailed inforination is obtained.
