  • B Instrumentation drif t of the Barton Steam Flow Transmitter caused it to be in an out of calibratian condition. The transmitter was recalibrated and returned to service.

c A records review of the safety related Barton transmitters was conducted to identify calibration drif t characteristics. Where operational restrictions allou ndditional conservatism, the setpoints had previously been changed.

The drif t cannot be accurately predicted. These transmitters are presently within the scope of the equipment qualification program (IEB 79-OlB) and will be changed out as part of the long teza upgrade of transmitters. Because of redundancy of instrumentation for ESI activation no further action is required at thi/ time.
