DCCKET 50-305 KEW%UNEE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

SUMMARY

CF OPEEATING EXPEPIENCE March, 1987 CPERATIONS: Ihe scheduled retueling shutdown continued through this entire reporting period.

MAINTENANC': ISC spent considerable time performing refueling mode instrument calibrations, replaced numerous solenoid valves for equipment qualification considerations and replaced a source range nuclear instrument.

Electricians rewired many Limitorque motor operated valves to obtain torque bypass and postion limit switch separation, performed grease changes and tnen followed it all up with MOVATS testing. They also replaced numerous air operated valve limit switches for EQ concerns and completed several Appendix R modifications.

The Mechanics supported several rcutine outage evolutions such as refueling, Steam Generator sludge la nci ng and eddy current testing, Safety Valve testing and various ISI inspections.

Additio na lly , they cleaned the Diesel Generator oil storage tanks and rebuilt the Emergency Personnel Airlock door linkage.
