l The transfer package (Memo from R. Boyd to V. Stello dated October 3,1978) for Davis Besse 1 provided that the Inservice Inspection and Testing Programs would be evaluated by the flechanical Ent;ineering Branch (J. Rajan, reviewer). Upon making a status assessment of the progress of this task we find that MEB is intending to evaluate only the Inservice Inspection Program.which apparently results in no plans for evaluating the Inservice Testing Program. We understood that the Inservice Testing Program was to be reviewed by DSS when consider-l ing the transfer of Davis Besse 1 to DOR and that this effort would i

be completed on the same schedule as originally indicated in the i

transfer package.

Please confim this and provide the name of the lead reviewer for the Inservice Testing Program.
