_ L-2018-004 1 ff-CFR 54.17 10 CFR 2.390 January 30, 2018 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn: Document Control Desk Washington, D.C. 20555-0001 Re: Florida Power & Light Company Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-251 Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Subsequent License Renewal Application Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) hereby submits a subsequent license renewal application (SLRA) for Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 in accordance with the general information required by 10 CFR 54.17 and 10 CFR 54.19 and the technical information required by 10 CFR 54.21, 10 CFR 54.22, and 10 CFR 54.23. Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 are located at the FPL Turkey Point site in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Pursuant to 10 CFR 54.21 (b), current licensing basis changes that have a material effect on the content of this application will be identified annually while the application is under NRC review, and at least three months prior to the scheduled completion of the NRC review. The Licensee Commitments identified in Enclosure 3, Appendix A, Section 17.4, "Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) Commitments List," includes FPL commitments to support the NRC review and may be updated as required during the review period.

The SLRA uses, to the extent practical, the standard format and content guidance of Regulatory Guide 1.188, Standard Format and Content for Applications to Renew Nuclear Power Plant Operating Licenses along with the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI)

NEI 17-01 dated December 2017, Table 6.2-1, Table of Contents. FPL used the NEI 17-01 guidance in Table 6.2-2 for preparing sections of the SLRA. Additional guidelines are provided in NEI 17-01, Appendix B.
