    Dear Nr. Stello:

Re: St. Lucie Vnit 1 Doc!<ei No. 50-335 Proposed Amendment to Facility Ooeratin License'DPR-67 Mith tho issuance of Operating License DPR-67 on March 1, 1976, conditions I.l and 1.2 were established.."- to require the installation o! a containment spray addii";ve syst m a.".d e installation of auxiliary heaters in each in cf the siii ld buiIdirg ventilation system (SBVS). The spray additive systeIB ard SBVS auxiliary heaters have been installed and tested, and have been incorporated inio the Technical Specifications by Amendments 26 and 27, respectively. In addition, we have recalculat d the off-site and control room radiological effects of postulated accidents aff=cted by these mitigating systems and find thai certain changes to existing Tech-nical Specifications are appropriate. Therefore, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.30, Florida Power 5 Light Company submits herewith three (3) signed origina".s and forty (40} copies of a request to amend Appendix A of l=- cility Operating License DPR-67.

The proposed 'changes are described below and shown on the attached Technical Sp cification pages bearing the date of this letter in the lower Iight hand corner.

Pa es 3/4 6-2 and 3/4 6-3 The combined 'ieakage rate of Specification 3/4.6.1.2 for all pene- g trations iden~ifiec as secondary containment bypass leakage oaths ft~

is increased due to an increase in the efficiency of mitigating systems. ]///
