Docket Nos.

50-335, 50-389, 50-250,

& 50-251 Res onse to Generic Letter 90-01 NRC Generic Letter (GL),90-01, "Request for Voluntary Participation in NRC Regulatory Impact Survey" 'issued on January 18,

1990, requested that nuclear utilities, on a voluntary basis, complete the questionnaire enclosed with the generic letter.

The purpose of the questionnaire was to provide the NRC with insight on the time which key power plant managers spend in responding to the various operational inspections and audits.

Florida Power 6 Light Company (FPL) has reviewed the inspection and audit records for our St.

Lucie and Turkey Point Plants and the requested survey results are enclosed.

The information provided by this survey is based on estimates of the time spent by personnel interfacing with the NRC and INPO and is not traceable by documentation to specific numbers.

The primary manpower impact is at the first line supervision/professional level, i.e., the level that responds directly to the inspectors

before, during, and in response to the inspection.

The impact at this level has been added as item 5.f. on the questionnaire.

Information on the other related inspections and audits is not readily available and is not provided.

V ry truly yours, J.
