EQUIPP,ENT QUALIFICATION INSPECTION - RIVER BEND STATION This letter confirms the dates of November 2 to 6,1987, for the equipment qualification (EQ) inspection at the River Bend Station. These dates were established during previous telephone conversations with your staff by Mr. A. R. Johnson, Region IV.
The management entrance meeting is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on November 2, 1987, at your plant site.
The plant walkdown inspection of equipment is planned for November 4,1987. The management exit meeting is tentatively scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on November 6, 1987, at the plant site. We will further contact your staff by telephone to address the logistics of the inspection.
The inspection will include the following:
1.
Review of your implementation of a 10 CFR 50.49 program including preservation of the qualified status of equipment.
2.
Review of your implementation of EQ corrective action commitments.
3.
Review of EQ documentation files.
4.
Physical inspection of selected equipment.
