SUMMARY 1.-

Scope:

This routine,- unannounced inspection was.in the areas of Management Support,, Security Program Plans, Security Program Audit, Records and.

Reports, Compensatory Measures, Protected and Vital ~ Area, Barriers,

' Maintenance,. Protected and Vital Area ' Access' of Personnel, Packages and Vehicles' and Personnel Training and Qualification - General

Requirements.

Results: !In~ the areas inspected, one. violation was identified in the area of Access fontrol. The licensee was advised that management attention was required to-ensure that access control regulatory, requirements were being - complied -with.

The licensee was informed that an

. extremely high, number of security access badges are being lost 'or misplaced and that management participation would be required to turn the' lost / misplaced' trend around. (See Paragraph 2, Protected and Vital Area Access Control of Personnel, Packages and Vehicles)

Additionally, the continued use of compensatory measures for ineffective equipment and outstanding. maintenance work request were

. discussed.
