Preoperational Test Results Review Completed preoperational test procedure results were reviewed for conformance with Nuclear Power Station Quality Assurance Manual sections 2, 5, 11, 14 and FSAR section 14.1.1.

No items of noncompliance or deviations were noted during the a.

The following comments were noted during the review of test procedure results:

(1) Open Item: 2-PO-65.2 Reactor Protection and Engineered Safety Features Response Time Testing - Circuritry, results approved 7/30/79.

The strip charts for test number 36 through 39 are incorrectly numbered.

This strip chart for test number 3 for Train

'A'

was not available for review.

Test number 6 appears to refer to the wrong test connection figure.

Test number 38 response time appears to be recorded incorrectly.

These items were discussed with a senior licensee representative who stated that these items will be reviewed and appropriate corrective actions taken. The inspector will review these corrective actions during a subsequent inspection (339/79-50-01).

(2) Open Item : 2-PO-65.5 Reactor Protection Response Time Testing-UV Coil, Breaker, and Gripper Coil, results approved 6/13/79.

The recorder traces obtained during performance of the test do not resemble the " Typical Trace Expected" as shown in Figure 2 of the procedure.

It does not appear that.the data obtained can be analyzed in accordance with Figure 2 as required by paragraph 4.6 of the procedure.
