SUBJECT:

REPORT NOS. 50-259/89-33, 50-260/89"33, AND 50-296/89-33 Thank you for your response of September 25, 1989, to our Notice of Violation, issued on August 24, 1989, concerning activities conducted at your Browns Ferry facility.

We have evaluated your response and found that it meets the requirements of

CFR 2.201.

We will examine the implementation of your corrective actions during future inspections.

Based on the information provided in your response, we accept your denial of the second example of violation A which concerned meeting the time frame of four working days to do a complete analysis of pump vibration data.

We agree that the analysis was performed within the required time and we will delete this example from our record.

We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
