This routine, unannounced inspection was conducted in the area of the Physical Security Program for Power Reactors, specifically Management Support, Barriers, Assessment Aids, Access Controls, Alarm Stations, and Compensatory Measures.
In addition, Unit 2 Start-up Items were reviewed, and several Physical Security Events were closed out (See paragraph 2).
Results:
In the areas inspected, violations or deviations were not identified by the NRC Inspectors, however, one Licensee Identified Violation was noted with respect to the protection and storage of Safeguards Information (See paragraph 3a.),
and one Non-Cited Violation was noted with respect to Safeguards Event reportability (See paragraph 2b.).
