Control Room Temperature Exceeds Technical Specification Limit AECM-84/0011 On December 15, 1983, the temperature in the Control Room exceeded the Technical Specification limit of 77'F for a period of more than eight hours.

The maximum recorded temperature was 80*F. Control Room temperatures exceeded the temperature limit intermittently for a cumulative time of 17 hours1.967593e-4 days <br />0.00472 hours <br />2.810847e-5 weeks <br />6.4685e-6 months <br />.

All Control Room equipment is qualified to a maximum of 90*F. therefore, an analysis to demonstrate operability of this equipment is not r ired. To provide further clarification, the 90*F limit is the lowest maxims temperature.

There was no affect on the availability of or operability of equipment within this area. This is being submitted as a Special Report pursuant to Technical Specification 3.7.8 and 6.9.2. This is a final report.
