On July 28,1995, during performance of 06-lC-SD17-A-1026, Accident Range Monitor AXM-1 Calibration, a cable on the Standby Gas Treatment System B Vent Background Gamma Detector N140E was found crimped making Channel 4 read high.
A 24 inch replacement cable was needed, however only 6 ir.ch cables were in supply. After a short delay in receiving the proper cable, it war, tcund that the detector needed recalibration.
During calibration, the monitor continued to read h 1h. While troubleshooting this problem, the interface box was replaced. Calibration was restarted and tested satisfactory.
Due to these unexpected delays, the detector exceeded its LCO time. Therefore, this special report is being submitted to meet the requirements of the GGNS Technical Requirements Manual Section 6.3.11 Condition C.1.
