Beginning on August 13, 1983, the following fire rated penetratiens on Elevation 166' of the Control Room were opened to support planned maintenance l activities. The penetrations were restored on the dates indicated.

l Electrical Fire Barriers LA45/LO84 08-30-83 LA50/LO84 08-30-83

) LA52/LO84 08-30-83 Fire watches were established in accordance with Technical Specification l 3.7.7 until the penetrations were resealed.

This is submitted as a Special Report pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.2 since the seven (7) day Limiting Condition for Operation tirce limit was exceeded. The event had no affect on the health and safety of the public and did not constitute a threat to plant safety. This is a final report.
