Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NFF-13 File 0260/L-835.0 Special Report 83-079/0 - Fire Doors in Auxiliary Building Blocked Open to Support Planned Maintenance Activities AECM-83/0570 On August 8, 1983, fire rated doors 1A108 and 1A109 in the Auxiliary Building were blocked open to support planned maintenance activities (to run hose for testing). Fire watches were established in accordance with Technical Specification 3.7.7 until the doors were restored on August 22, 1983.

This is submitted as a Special Report pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.2 since the seven (7) day Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) was exceeded. The event 'md no affect on the health and safety of the public and did not constitute a threat to plant safety. This is a final report.
