Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Decket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/L-835.0 Special Report 83-037/0 - Fire Doors 1A214 and 1A210 Opened to Allow Routing of Air lloses AECM-83/0300 On April 21, 1983, fire doors 1A214 and 1A210 were opened to allow the routing of air hoses into the adjacent Motor Control Center Division I switchgear rooms to perform a planned nr.intenance activity (cleaning of Division I Motor Control Center's) during the planned Division I electrical outage. All fire rated doors are required to be closed at all times by Technical Specification 3.7.7 and since the doors were not closed by the LCO time limit of 7 days this is being submitted as a Special Report pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.2.

The doors were secured on May 9, 1983, at 2330 hours0.027 days <br />0.647 hours <br />0.00385 weeks <br />8.86565e-4 months <br />. The event had no affect on the health and safety of the public and did not constitute a threat to plant safety. This is a final report.
