Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/L-835.0 Special Report 83-019/0 - Fire Barriers Opened to Support Planned Work AECM-83/0249 On March 17 and 19, 1983, several fire barriers in the Control Building and Auxiliary Building were opened to support implementation of design change packages.
Hourly fire watches were established in accordance with Technical Specification 3.7.7. All penetrations are expected to be restored by June 30, 1983. This is submitted as a Special Report pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.2 since the seven day LCO time limit of Technical Specification 3.7.7 was exceeded.
