WATERFORD STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNIT 3 - NRC SECURITY INSPECTION REPORT 05000382/2015201

Dear Mr. Chisum:

On April 9, 2015, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at your Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3, and the NRC inspectors discussed the results of this inspection with you and other members of your staff. Inspectors documented the results of this inspection in the enclosed inspection report.

NRC inspectors documented two findings of very low security significance (Green) in this report. These findings involved violations of NRC require ments. The NRC is treating these violations as non-cited violations (NCV) consistent with Section 2.3.2.a of the Enforcement Policy.

If you contest the violations or significance of these NCVs, you should provide a response within 30 days of the date of this inspection report, with the basis for your denial, to the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ATTN: Document Control Desk, Washington DC 20555-0001; with copies to the Regional Administrator, Region IV; the Director, Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response; the Director, Office of Enforcement, U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission,

Washington, DC 20555-0001; and the NRC resident ins pector at the Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3.

If you disagree with a cross-cutting aspect assignment in this report, you should provide a response within 30 days of the date of this inspection report, with the basis for your disagreement, to the Regional Administrator, Region IV; the Director, of Nuclear Security and

Incident Response; and the NRC resident inspector at the Waterford Steam Electric Station,

Unit 3.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390, "Public Inspections, Exemptions, Requests for Withholding,"

of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room

The enclosure transmitted herewith contains Safeguards Information. When separated from the enclosure, this transmittal document is decontrolled.

However, the material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10 CFR 73.21, "Protection of Safeguards Information: Performance Requirements," and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended. Therefore, the material in the enclosure will not be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the PARS component of NRC's ADAMS.
