TWO RIVERS, WI, 54241 Email: dgreenwood8118@gmail.com Phone: 9203741364 General Comment I am a Two Rivers native who lives 12 miles from Point Beach Nuclear Plant. I am writing in support of License Extension. I have grown up with and currently know dozens of Staff who work at Point Beach Nuclear Plant. The Plant is constantly upgrading components and updating their business (expanding their offerings to solar as well). They have been a great neighbor & I feel safe with them in my backyard. They run a clean, carbon-free Plant, which is good for my Community. They keep us well informed of updates.

They have a well equipped security force who undergo routine Training and are equipped with top-of-the-line tools to defend the Plant against outside threats. Their Operations Department is vast & well-trained as well. They study industry OE and ensure that they guard against the mistakes learned from others.

(Fukushima)

They have installed, maintained, and protected the current spent fuel assemblies stored on site. I have no reason to believe that going forward would be any different. They are involved in many Community activities and philanthropic ventures. As I've stated earlier, the Staff there is well trained. They are also decently paid. Much of those (wage) dollars stay in our Community.

I lived in this area when Kewanee Nuclear Plant was abruptly closed. Our Community is still recovering.

I believe that Point Beach Nuclear Plant is devoting the resources towards the. License Extension (Licensee). As the Licensor, please do your due diligence and grant the extension. As you seek "Public Comments," I trust that the NRC REALLY scrutinizes and vetts those that are commenting. By reading others' comments it becomes evident that they may be speaking for some other cause. Are they REALLY impacted by what is going on in my Community??? Denying License Extension would be a grave mistake for our Community on so many levels.
