Vice President. Sequoyah Nuclear Plant January 31, 1994 TVA-SQN-TS-93-02 10 CFR 50.90 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission ATTN: Document Control Desk Washington, D.C. 20555 Gentlemen:

r In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 .

SEQUOYAll NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - REVISED PAGES FOR TECIINICAL SPECIFICATION (TS) CilANGE 93-02

Reference:

TVA letter to NRC dated March 10, 1993, "Sequoyah Nuclear j Plant (SQN) - Technical Specification (TS) Change 93-02, '!

' Removal of 10 CFR 50, Appendix J Containment Test Requirements from TS'" q In the referenced letter, TVA submitted a proposed TS change (TS Change 93-02) for SQN. The proposed TS change models SQN's TSs after the i standard TSs for Westinghouse Electric Corporation plants (NUREG-1431) and eliminates duplication of 10 CFR 50, Appendix J requirements within '

TSs.

t Based on conversations with NRC, editorial changes were-identified by_ the  ;

staff that would clarify TVA's proposed TS change. Accordingly, TVA is submitting revised TS pages that supersede the TS pages from TVA's referenced letter. For administrative ease, all pages of TS Change 93-02 have been resubmitted for-Units 1 and 2.

?

The changes to the TS pages are considered to be editorial in nature, and do not impact the overall intent of the affected specifications.

Consequently,.the no significant hazards consideration provided in the referenced letter remains unchanged. l
