ENCLOSURE 1 NOTICE OF DEVIATION Virginia Electric and Power Company Docket Nos. 50-338 and 50-339 North Anna 1 and 2 License Nos. NPF-4 and NPF-7

.The following- deviation was identified during an inspection conducted on November 5-28, 1984.

In a June 18, 1981 letter to the NRC responding to NUREG 0737, Item I. A.I.1, Shift Technical Advisor, the licensee committed to provide 24 contact hours of management skills training to candidates for Shift Technical Advisors.

Contary to the above, the 1984 Shift Technical Advisor's class did not receive instruction in the area of management skills.

Please provide, in writing within 30 days of the date of this Notice,- a description of corrective actions regarding this deviation, actions taken to avoid further deviations, and the dates when these actions were or will be completed.

Security or safeguards information should be submitted as an enclosure to facilitate withholding it from public disclosure as required by 10 CFR 2.790(d) or 10 CFR 73.21.
