- Unit Supervisor has entered QGA 100 and has directed Operator to inject water from Unit 1(2) Condensate system into Unit 2(1) RPV using Condensate system crosstie in accordance with QCOP 3300-12.

- The Unit 1(2) Condensate pumps are operating satisfactory.

- A fire in the plant has damaged fire detection cabling associated with the Unit 1(1/2) EDG Room as indicated by control room alarms.

- A manual start from the Control Room was attempted but was not successful due to a faulty control switch.

- QCOA 6600-16, Unit 1 Diesel Generator Fails to Start (QCOA 6600-02, Diesel Generator 1/2 Fails to Start) has been entered and another NSO is taking actions directed by that procedure.

- Unit 1(1/2) EDG Day Tank level is 90% and the storage tank level is 95%.

INITIATING CUE The Unit Supervisor directs you to locally start the Unit 1(1/2) EDG in accordance with QCOP 6600-11, Diesel Generator Local Operation, to energize Bus 14-1 (13-1). Report to the Unit Supervisor when Diesel Generator is ready to be loaded.
