NRC Initial License Written Exam

The Initial License Written Examination was administered at Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station (QCNPS) on June 14th, 2021. The candidates were briefed in accordance with NUREG-1021, Appendix E and the examination commenced at 08:00. There were 6 questions and no clarifying information on any of the questions was given by the proctors. In accordance with NUREG-1021, Section ES-501, there were no comments which resulted from the post-examination review and the examination analysis of missed questions has been forwarded to the Chief Examiner, Randal Baker.

This letter provides the notification that QCNPS will not be providing any comments or change recommendations to any questions pertaining to the Initial License Written Examination administered on June 14th, 2021.

In addition, QCNPS requests that this examination and associated materials be withheld from public disclosure for a period of 2 years to allow its use as an evaluation tool for future initial license candidates.
