By letter of May 10, 1988 Alabama Pover Company proposed changes to revise references to the corporato management position of Senior Vice President. Based on conversations with the Farley Project Manager, Alabama Power Company proposes to supersede this submittal. The following provides Alabama Power Company's revised proposed Technical Specification change.

Alabama Power Company proposes to revise the reference of Senior Vice President to Vice President - Nuclear to reflect organizational titles.

Additionally, the reference to Senior Vice President was deleted from 6.5.1.8 and 6.5.3.1.d since 6.5.2.2 vill now define the NORB Chairman to be the Vice President - Nuclear. These changes are editorial in nature.

The proposed Technical Specification changes are provided in Attachment

1. Alabama Power Company has determined that the proposed changes do not involve a significant hazards consideration. In accordance with 10CFR50.92, a significant hazards consideration evaluation is provided in Attachment 2. Alabama Power Company's Plant Operations Review Committee has reviewed these proposed changes and the Nuclear Operations Review Board vill review these proposed changes at a future meeting.

NRC approval of this change is requested as soon as practicable. In letter dated April 28, 1988, Alabama Power Company requested the deletion of offsite and onsite organization charts (Figures 6.2.-1 and 6.2-2) from Technical Specifications 6.2.1 and 6.2.2, The attached pages to this May 26, 1988 submittal assume that the changes proposed by the April 28, 1988 letter vill be approved prior to approval of the May (

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission May 26, 1988 Page 2 Pursuant to 10 CFR 170.21, the required License Amendment Application Fee of $150.00 was enclosed with the May 10, 1988 submittal. A copy of this proposed change has also been sent to Dr. C. E. Fox, the Alabama State Designee, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1).
