CERTIFICATE AMENDMENT REQUEST - PORTSMOUTH GASEOUS DIFFUSION PLANT ADDITIONAL CRITICALITY ACCIDENT ALARM SYSTEM (CAAS)

FACILITIES (TAC NO. L32059)

Dear Mr. Miller.

In accordance with your application dated February 27,1998, and pursuant to Part 76 to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Certificate of Compliance GDP-2 is hereby amended by adding X-700, X-720, X-760 and XT-847 facilities to the existing X-710 facility CAAS Technical Safety Requirement 2.8.3.1. Accordingly, Condition 9 has been revised to include the date of February 27,1998. This amendment becomes effective sixty days after issuance.

All other conditions of this certificate shall remain the same.

Enclosed is a copy of the revised Certificate of Compliance.
