TAC NO. L32114)
Dear Mr. Adkins:
Two separate but similar certificate amendment requests for PGDP and PORTS were appropriately submitted on March 16,1999, by the United States Enrichment Corporation (USEC). The NRC opened two separate TAC Nos. for reviewing the USEC applications.
However, due to the similar nature of the requests, the NRC staff has prepared a single Compliance Evaluation Report (CER) to support the amendment of Certificates of Compliance GDP-1 and GDP-2. A copy of the CER is enclosed. A copy of the Notice of Amendment, which has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication, is elso enclosed. The j
notice provides the opportunity for the public to file a petition for review of the decision in accordance with 10 CFR Part 76, Subpart C. Final action on your amendment request will not be taken until after the period for requesting review of the Director's Decision is over.
