Dear Mr. Adkins:
On June 11,1999, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a routine and announced chemical safety inspection at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PORTS).
The enclosed report represents the results of that inspection.
The inspection was conducted at the PORTS facility from June 7-11,1999. The areas reviewed during the inspection are identified in the enclosed report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of facility walk-throughs, selective examinations of procedures and records, and interviews with personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no violation of NRC requirements was identified.

On June 11,1999, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a routine and announced chemical safety inspectiori at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PORTS).
The enclosed report represents the results of that inspection.
The inspection was conducted at the PORTS facility from June 7-11,1999. The areas reviewed during the inspection are identified in the enclosed report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of facility walk-throughs, selective examinations of procedures and records, and !
interviews with personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no violation of NRC l requirements was identified. '
