Description of Circumstances:
1 During the last week of January, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in i cooperation with NRC, is planning to distribute test samples of low level radio-iodine in water (<10 pCi/1) through the EPA Environmental Radioactivity Labora-tory Intercomparison Studies Program (Crosscheck Program). This test will enable the user laboratory to verify its capability to quantitatively detect low levels of radioiodine in water by radiochemical techniques.
