Dear Marvin,
This letter is to document the information which I recently gave you over the telephone concerning staff reductions at Aero-test Operations, Inc. The continuing slow-down in the demand for our services has forced me, over the past year, to reduce staff by almost 50%. I have tried to hang on to our licensed Senior Operators for as long as I could. Iloweve r , it finally became necessary to cut in that area as well. Therefore, effective January 15, 1993 Mr. Diego E. Figueredo, Lic.# SOP-50332 and Mr.
Vincent P. Scott, Lic.# SOP-70010 have been laid-off. If our work load should pick-up in the near future, and these men were avail-able to return, we would be delighted to have them back. There-fore, we are not asking that their licenses be terminated at this time. In the event that they accept other employment, we will inform you, and their licenses may be terminated at that time.
This change will require me to assume the position of Reactor Supervisor on an interim basis. When it is possible to appoint a full-time Reactor Supervisor, I will inform you.
