l Public Service Company of Oklahoma is currently assessing the feasibility of )

pursuing initial safety related construction under a LWA II. As you are aware the project has had significant delay due primarily to the plethora of hearing  :

issues before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board at the present time.

In the event that we should elect to request an LWA II from the Directorate of Nuclear Peactor Regulation on the basis of a partial initial decision of the Board, tne following activities represent work to be performed under such an authorization:

I. Install the underdrain trenches in the excavation seal. '

l II. Install the perimeter drain system around the central complex l foundations. '

III. Construct all associated foundations in the central complex area excavation, including the reactor building, auxiliary building, control building, fuel building, radwaste tunnel and turbine building.

IV. Construct all walls and structures to include the vent structure, RPV structure, containment vessel, and the like on the foundation listed in Item III above to elevation 575 feet-0, except that the vent structure will terminate at elevation 576 feet-7", and the RPV structure will terminate at 573 feet-3". Nominal plant grade is 575 feet-0.

V. Place backfill around all buildings listed in Items III and IV above to elevation 574 feet-6".
