. ll- t On August 8,,.1984, Tom Robertson and Joyee Lewis met with C J Parker to review the resolution of concerns raised by Parker during previous interviews.

Robertson explained the process used to investigate Parker's concerns as well as any action taken in the following areas:

l

1) Production pressure
2) Advanced distribution of the red head test '
3) Socket weld fit-up requirements
4) Installation of pipe without expansion loops -
5) Stand pipe support welds I
6) Straightening of concrete anchors
7) Drilling in fresh grout When asked if he had any questions about his technical concerns, Parker said no, except he wondered why Dodd told the crew to violate procedure and how did he (Dodd) continue to get by with it.

Lewis then told Parker that his employee relations concerns had also been investi-gated and that appropriate action had been taken where necessary. Lewis told Parker that she could not give specifics (just as any type of personnel action taken with an employee is not publicized.)

Parker replied that Dodd should not be working a crew, especially in Unit 1, that Dodd told the crew to violate procedure on numerous occasions, and that he -

(Parker) did not trust Dodd's abilities as a supervi.sor. Parker continued by saying~ that even though most of the work had been corrected, it was done wrong initially because of Dodd. Parker said he was not satisfied even though he knew that an investigation had been conducted into his concerns. Lewis then told Parker that she would set up an appointment with the NRC or that he could go directly if he (Parker) had problems with the follow-up information. Parker reiterated that Dodd could not be trusted and that he would not sign off because of that. Parker then began talking about Dodd taking tools off the' job and how no action was taken. (A concern raised by Parker in a previous interview.)

Parker was again told he could talk to-the NRC if he was not satisf, ied with the response to his concerns. He replied that he did not wish.to do s'o. He said he did not think anything would ever be done to Dodd. 3 Parker was asked what would resolve his concerns. He said he did St know - he just was not satisfied and never would be. Parker said he did not like the idea  :

that a lot of work had been and would continue to be done wrong at Dodd',s directive.

Parker was told if he had any questions or if he decided .to sign-off to call .

Robertson or Lewis.
