D /R GENERATION OF COMPUTER WELO L:si A listing of all stainless steel socket welds has been generated for all welders employed under the supervision of Arlon Moore. This was accomplished as follows:

1) Payroll records were verified and a listing with names and dates of all those who worked for Arlon Moore was generated.

2) Stencil numbers were found for each of these welders. Care was taken to assure that the stencil humber coincided with the dates.

In some cases, welders have been issued new stencils due to damage or loss of their stencil.

3) Two computer files were researched for the necessary information (the AP and A0 files).

4) All welder stencil numbers and appropriate dates of employment on Arlon's crew were entered in the computer.

5) Applying a welder's stencil number and dates to the AP file gave the total number of ASME welds made by that welder while he/she worked for Arlon.

6) This listing was then matched against the A0 file to eliminate welds over 2" diameter and those which were not stainless steel welds. . .

7) There are a number of reports due to the computer's limited memory in holding the information derived from the AP file.
