Inspection. itespons ibil i ty The Senior Quality Control Engineer is responsible for following this procedure on hangers inspected in accordance with Procedure M-41. The General Superintendent is responsible for craf t activities described

   . ~.{         Procedure Af ter an erection inspection has been performed on a hanger, any altera-tion to the hanger may invalidate the inspection. Form CP-301A may be used by the person performing the erection inspection to tag the hanger. The person tagging the hanger will sign and date the tag. He will also initial and date on the print all hangers which have been inspected as a means for temporarily identifying those hangers. This print shall be marked, " Marked Drawing--Do Not Destroy," and maintained by quality Control staff until it is no longer useful. If a tagged hanger requires additional work, the craft personnel are responsible for contacting the person Indicated on the tag before the work is done. (Except for painting) Painting of hangers should only be done after it has been tagged. All documentation of hanger inspection will be in accordance with the applicable procedures. This construc-tion procedure does not amplify or replace any portion of the appilcable Inspection procedures. If specific hangers do not maintain their inspection
                ' tags, the Senior Quality Control Engineer is responsible for evaluating the current inspection status.
