l l On July 20, 1983, Cygna received a copy of Detroit Edison's comments on Cygna's
- Final Report for the Independent Design Verification Program on Fermi 2. Their document, as well as the specific comments provided by the NRC in a June 15, 1983 meeting (and also a subsequent conference telecon on June 17,1983), will form the basis for providing supplemental information to our Final Report. The sup-plement will essentially expand a number of the Observation Review Records and Potential Finding Reports to include more backup and background material. This information will further clarify the results of our review and also provide additional support for Cygna's conclusions. In particular, it is our intent to identify more clearly and concisely those areas where Cygna found it necessary to expand the review scope beyond that contained in our original program plan.
A schedule for completing this additional effort is presented in Attachment A to this letter. As shown, Cygna anticipates this effort can be completed by October 14, 1983.
