Enclosed is Volume 4 of the Final Report for the Independent Design Verifi-cation Program (IDVP) performed by Cygna Energy Services on Enrico Fermi -
Unit 2.
This additional report presents supplemental information in support of the results and conclusions submitted in Volumes 1, 2, and 3 of the IDVP Final Report (dated April 29,1983).
Specifically, it clarifies and expands on the bases for resolving a number of the reported observations and potential findings and outlines the extent Cygna's review was expanded beyond the origi-nally defined work scope.
It also addresses comments and questions resulting from subsequent NRC Staff and Detroit Edison reviews of our original submittal.
A revised cover sheet and Table of Contents are provided inside the front cover of Volume 4 with an instruction sheet for. inserting this material into Volume 1 of the Final Report.
Volume 4 of the Final Report, along with the requisite number of copies, is being transmitted to both the NRC and Detroit Edison con-currently.
