SUMMARY

LaSalle Unit 1 operated at full power for the month of September 2003, with the exception of the following: September 14 - Power was reduced to 1000 MWe to maintain condensate booster pump pressure due to isolation of the 14B feedwater heater. The level transient was caused by level perturbations resulting from the emergency drain valve cycling to compensate for the slow response of the normal drain valve. The normal drain valve was adjusted and the unit was returned to full power on September 16, 2003.

UNIQUE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR UNIT ONE

1. Challenges other than routine surveillance testing to Safety/Relief Valve Operations - None Page 1 of 2
