Dear Mr. Rusche:

In order to support your staff's evaluation of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant compliance with Appendix I to 10CFR50, the following information is provided:

1. - Initial meteorological station calibration data (Enclosure 1),

summary of maintenance and calibrations after initial calibra-tion (Enclosure 2), and 1976 calibration program outline (Enclosure 3)..

2. Correlation study indicating modification to air flow at 10~eter level during 1973-75 data collection period and presenting method of adjusting data to correct for air flow modification (Enclosure 4).

3. Hourly meteorological data for January'15 through April 6, '1976, col-lected'fter the obstructions to air flow were removed "and which forms the data base used to modify the 1973-75 record'(Enclo'sure 5).

4. Joint distributions of wind direction and speed, 1973-75, after 10~eter wind speeds were adjusted for air flow modification (Enclosure 6).

5. Annual average relative concentrations and deposition from adjusted 10-meter data base (Enclosure 7).

6. An assessment of the validity of the data base used for the calculat (Enclosure 8).
