DUQUESNL LIGHT COMPANY Beaver Valley Power Station Unit No. 1 RESPONSE TO IE BULLETIN NO.79-06A Letter Dated April 18, 1979 Item 13 Propose changes, as required, to those technical specifications which must be modified as a result of your implementing the above items and identify design changes necessary in order to effect long term resolutions of these items.

Response 13 The only technical specification and design change necessary to effect long term resolution of the items expressed in IE Bulletin 79-06A is a modification to the pressurizer safety injection logic. This modification would delete the level coincidence and alter the pressure coincidence to a 2 out of 3 low pressure logic.

The design change and technical specification change requests are presently being routed through normal company channels for implementation and submittal to the Commission.
