In your letter of July 2,1980, you requested information regarding estimates for evacuation of various areas around proposed nuclear power plants. Specific reference was made to a previous NRC letter dated December 26, 1979 of which a copy was enclosed.
Please be advised that we have previously responded to your original request of December 26, 1979 for our proposed Pebble Springs Nuclear Plant in a letter dated April 4, 1980. We have attached a copy of this letter for your convenience.
-We--believe this information satisfies your request for sub n ion of evacuation time estimates on an accelerated basis to enable tue NRC Staff to identify, in a timely manner, those sites where evacuation constraints e.-ist and special planning measures should be consideret. As can be seen from the results of our study, no unusual evacuation problems exist for the Pebble Springs Nuclear Plant site. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
