Dear Sir:
l In your letter of December 26, 1979, Portland General Electric Company I
was requested to provide information regarding estimates of evacuation I
times around future nuclear power plants. We have completed this evaluation and have attached a summary report"for your information.
As a result of this preliminary study, no unusual evacuation problems have been identified for the Pebble Springs Nuclear Plant site. The estimated evacuation time for normal conditions is I hr. and for abnormal conditions is I hr. and 20 min.
Local officials have had an opportunity to review this report and their comments have been incorporated.
