We have enclosed ten (10) copies of a report by Beak Consult-ants, Inc., entitled Preconstruction Ecological Studies for the Pebble Springs Site - Supplement to May 1978 Final Report, dated February 1979. This report describes the continuation of a monitoring program begun in 1977 on salmonid smolts, long-billed curlews and raptores. The final report of May 1978, previously transmitted to you on July 7,1978, described studies regarding fish, vegetation, and birds conducted during 1977-1978 in accordance with the elements and procedures of the Pebble Springs Fish and Wildlife Monitoring Program.

The Pebble Springs Fish and Wildlife Monitoria: Program had been established at a January 19, 1977 meeting between repre-sentatives of Portland General Electric Company, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Department of Interior), the U. S. National Marine Fisheries
