For this reason wc do not believe that the failure mode.poses an imminent danger.We have identified a time period during which these boards were available, but are not able to trace which boards these particular lots of relays wcremed'on.'Lot 9118:w'as manufactured by Potter 4 Brtnnfield on~February 22, 1991.Lot 9242 was manufactured by'Potter P.Srumficid on October.30, 1992.All chargers'hich use this rehy or rephtcetncnt boards that were sold Rom February 22, 1991 until the present have'been identified and the vendors are listed in, attachment A to this rcporL Each vendor will be notified of'.'he possible hatard and the connection to the 10CHQl rcport of this event.They will be advised to checlc'he HVSD Printed Circuit Board in their charger or'stock to assure that the rehy on the board is not&om one of the suspect lots.Any boards which contain rcl ays from the suspect lot may be returned to Cd&for testing and repair or replacement.

Means were identified to distinguish the'good'chys from the'bad'elays by means of a puB test on thc:,'chy reset button.This test has been incorporited into the receiving inspection procedures of both ourselves and our subcontractor for safety rehted boards.Using this test method, boards were selected for: testing by Nuclear Logistics, Inc.under seismic stresses.Results of the testing is attached.These tests demonstrated that the'pull test'as sufhcient to.distinguish
