Dear Mr. Jamil:

This letter is being sent to you to correct an error in the cover letter to our meetingannouncement dated March 16, 2006, for the public Annual Assessment Meeting. In that letter,we incorrectly referred to your Catawba Nuclear Station as the Catawba Electric Generating Plant. Please replace the original cover letter with the enclosed corrected cover letter. We apologize for any resulting inconvenience.In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letterand its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC PublicDocument Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC'sdocument system (ADAMS).
